Overview
Most CMMC consultants prepare clients for an assessment they have never personally undergone. CLOUD2E took the other path: we built our own enclave, wrote our own SSP, sat our own C3PAO assessment, and earned CMMC Level 2 certification as an organization. Everything we sell, we first survived.
As a CYBER-AB Registered Provider Organization, we guide defense suppliers through the entire arc — scoping, remediation, documentation, assessment support — and then, unlike advisory-only shops, we stay: operating the enclave, keeping evidence current, and making your next assessment an administrative event rather than a crisis. What level do we actually need?
It depends on whether you handle CUI or only Federal Contract Information — and your contracts, not your instincts, answer that. A short scoping conversation usually settles level, boundary, and rough effort within days.
How long does Level 2 preparation take?
Typical small-to-mid contractors run three to nine months from gap assessment to assessment-ready, driven mostly by scope size and remediation depth. Enclave-first strategies shorten the path dramatically.
What does your CMMC Tracker do?
