Cybersecurity & Incident Response — Managed Security
Detection, response, and prevention — run for you around the clock.
Overview
The adversaries targeting the defense supply chain do not keep business hours, and neither does our security operation. CLOUD2E runs managed security as an MSSP: next-generation endpoint protection driven by AI and machine-learning detection, continuous monitoring, data-loss prevention, and a practiced incident-response capability — all under a service model where you see what we see.
Security products are easy to buy and hard to run. Alerts without triage become noise; tools without baselines become shelfware. Our value is the operation: tuned detections, disciplined response runbooks, and reporting that tells leadership the truth about risk. And because we are CMMC Level 2 certified ourselves, our security operation has been examined against the same standard we help clients meet.
Cybersecurity & Incident Response
MSSP
Delivered by an MSP that holds its own CMMC Level 2 certification.
// What's included
Inside the service
Next-gen endpoint protection
AI/ML-driven prevention and EDR on every endpoint, centrally managed, with STIG-aligned hardening underneath it.
24/7 monitoring & response
Continuous watch over identities, endpoints, and cloud tenants, with humans in the loop for what automation cannot judge.
Advanced data loss prevention
Policies that follow sensitive data — CUI above all — across email, endpoints, and collaboration platforms.
Incident response
Contain, eradicate, recover, and report — with DFARS 72-hour reporting obligations built into the runbook for defense clients.
Vulnerability management
Recurring scanning, prioritized remediation, and closure tracking that stands up in assessments.
Security engineering
Zero-trust access patterns, segmentation, and hardening projects that shrink your attack surface quarter over quarter.
// How we deliver
The working rhythm
01
Baseline
Deploy sensors, inherit or establish hardening baselines, and tune detections to your environment’s normal.
02
Watch
24/7 monitoring with triage discipline — every alert dispositioned, patterns reported, noise engineered away.
03
Respond
When something real happens, a practiced team executes containment and recovery, and you get a readable after-action report.
04
Harden
Every incident and every quarter feeds back into prevention: new controls, closed paths, measurably less exposure.
Who it's for
Organizations that cannot staff a security operations capability but face real adversaries: defense suppliers with CUI, professional firms with sensitive client matters, and growing companies whose breach tolerance is zero.
Why CLOUD2E
Our MSSP operation protects environments we also certify — the detection stack, the response runbooks, and the reporting were all assessed in our own CMMC Level 2 certification. We defend the way we document, and we document the way we defend.
// FAQ
Questions we hear about cybersecurity & incident response
Do you replace our antivirus?
Almost certainly — legacy signature AV is not a defense posture. We deploy managed next-generation protection with EDR, and we run it: tuning, triage, and response, not just installation.
What happens when you detect an incident at 3 a.m.?
Containment begins immediately under pre-agreed authority — isolating endpoints, revoking sessions, blocking indicators — and your designated contacts are engaged per the runbook we wrote together. For defense clients, DFARS reporting clocks are tracked from the first confirmed event.
Can you work with our cyber-insurance requirements?
Yes — our control stack maps cleanly onto common carrier questionnaires, and our reporting gives you the evidence to answer them honestly, which is what keeps policies valid.
